  1. Your verse reminds me of when I saw an owlet during the day! I think it fell out of my Silver Maple.
    I had a onesided conversation for a bit. The owlet just looked at me (maybe even with a sheepish grin!).

  2. D. you nailed the contrasts perfectly in your haiku. The owl was an unexpected sight and
    “moonlight frost feathered” makes this visually stunning! I bet the shadow play was lovely against the snow. And to witness silent flight is pretty spectacular! Owls are spectacular birds. I’ve only seen a couple in the wild and they are breathtaking. ❤
