It’s Six Sentence Story time again, prompt word ”deal”. This is what came this week, six sentences, in 52 words. Go to GirlieOntheEdge for the link to more Sixes and be sure to leave one of your own. Anything goes, as long as it’s a Six.
Yes
They have converged at a crossroads and are conversing…
“Really, you’re the real deal? So… like, what is the deal, what do you want from me?”
“I don’t make deals; I want nothing for myself, but do want your actions and words to come from loving kindness.”
“Jesus!”
“Yes.”
Cleverly pithy. Love it.

Oh good, your smile brightens the day.
I thought it’d be fun to have these two meet at the crossroads, the place where that other guy is often making deals.

Jesus may want repentance. I like how you brought them together at a crossroads.

Yeah, the crossroads scene just popped in, but with an unbelievably nice character, not the usual devilish dealer found at crossroads.

Thanks Clark. My gadget woes continue and I have been unable to comment at your place but I should have the fix in hand soon.

Jesus wants complete obedience. I hope it works out for your protagonist. Much as I’ve always been obsessively interested in Beatle George, he’s singing about Hare Krishna so it’s not the same. It’s quite a Fab(heh heh) song though

Clever meeting place for a disruption to the crossroads trope. I do love that song. We will have to talk about George some day. Next fire.

He would be worth going out of my way to meet at a crossroads, or anywhere.

A good crossroads meeting. Can’t argue with the sentiment: “actions and words to come from loving kindness.”
George was such a gentle and full of love Beatle and solo artist. Last words: Love one another.
